Mazin Al-Ezzi is a senior investment professional who has 25+ years experience in managing and protecting the interests of Mississaugians. Throughout his tenure as an investment professional, Mazin has accumulated a multitude of relevant skills an knowledge to facilitate the needs and wants of families, multiple events stakeholders, businesses and community groups.
Mazin obtained both his bachelor’s degree in business (with distinction) and master’s degree in marketing from the University of London, where he was the president of the students’ union. He is married to Amal Al-Khalisi, a senior investment professional, and together they have a son named Salah and a daughter named Rawan. Their two children attended schools in Ward 10 and are involved in a multitude of recreation and community initiatives.
As a dedicated and energetic leader in Mississauga’s Ward 10 community, Mazin takes great pleasure in working with others to bring about positive change in the ward. Over the past decase, Mazin has had the honor and pleasure of developing community engagement via initiatives such as his tenure on resettlement and refugee committees. Throughout the course of this, he was a driving force in the facilitation of safer and more diginified lives for hundreds of refugee, integration into both the labour market and society as a whole, as well as the stimulation of entrepreneurship in Ward 10. Mazin’s immense dedication to Ward 10 and the City of Mississauga as a whole is also evident in his collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross, Trillium Health Partners-Credit Valley Hospital, various senior care programs as well as via involvement with Active Mississaga. Mazin is the most fulfilled when he is helping his fellow community members and raising their quality of life and it is his hope that he can utilize his work ethic and leadership skills to build a stronger tomorrow for Ward 10.
